While in #eatingdisorderrecovery, there is so much that you might want to share with a loved one. You might be frustrated by those around you who might be constantly commenting about your food, their food, your body, their body and more. This can be triggering and upsetting while trying hard to stay recovery minded.  Those around you often want to help and might not know that they are actually causing harm with their words and actions.

We have been compiling a list of things our patients have shared that they wished their loved ones KNEW!

- Don't comment on my body - even if you think it's a "nice" thing to say.

- Don't comment on other people's bodies.

- Don't comment on my food.

- I don't want to hear about your diet or exercise plan.

- Yes, I need to eat THIS much.

- It's triggering when you never join me for meals.

-My eating disorder gets activated by how much you exercise.

Share it with your loved ones!
